Touareg Warranty
A Volkswagen Touareg to an SUV is like a Rolex to a watch. Unfortunately, this also means that repair costs will also be "superior" (a.k.a. more expensive) than any other SUV. One way to avoid spending a fortune on unexpected repairs when you just spent a fortune on a new Touareg is to get an extended warranty for Touareg. Extended warranty protects you and your wallet against costly repairs and covers vehicle components, including electronic components, above and beyond the Touareg warranty by the original manufacturer. Volkswagen Touareg extended warranty is a must-buy for all outdoor adventure types. While the car was designed for off-road performance, it is not immune to mechanical malfunctions even if it is only driven on a perfectly paved highway. The reality is that everything mechanical is bound to break down at some point. If the car is taken for an off-road spin, this adds additional stress on the infrastructure of the car, which is yet another reason to ensure full engine/electrical coverage protection with a custom-designed Touareg extended warranty. Don't get stuck with a repair bill of some part not covered by Touareg's factory warranty. Compare the coverage details below and get immediate protection of a Touareg extended warranty.

About Volkswagen Touareg
The Volkswagen Touareg is a midsize 5-door SUV that made its debut in 2002 - WV's newest entry in this product class. Volkswagen named it after the Touareg nomadic tribe in Saharan North Africa.
The Touareg is the result of a partnership between VW, Porsche and Audi. The Touareg shares the Porsche Cayenne's basic chassis, although there are many differences in engineering and design. The objective of the partnership was to create a vehicle with off-road capabilities that handles like a sports car. Optional feature that makes the Touareg a true off-road vehicle is an air suspension system which raises the car's height. This feature is offered with the V-6 and earlier V-8 equipped models. The air suspension system gives ground clearance of 11.8, a total of 5.5 inches of suspension travel - even higher clearance than a Hummer H2. The Touareg's crash behavior is unusual in its class: As stable as a sedan, with an extra-reinforced roof for occupant safety in case of rollover.
VW used a lot of creative thinking when designing the Touareg. The engineers intended that the occupants be comfortable in a cocoonlike setting while traveling through rough territory and high temperatures. The Touareg's cabin is wide, luxurious and uses very high grade materials like leather, wood and chrome in the trim. The Touareg also comes standard with a V-Tex leatherette seat trim, sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control and interior control knobs that are large and easy to grip.
The Touareg is available as a gasoline V-6 that produces 280 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque, or as a turbodiesel V-6 TDI that produces 221 horsepower and 407 pound-feet of torque. Six-speed automatic transmission and a 4XMOTION permanent four-wheel drive are standard on both current models. A V-8 engine was available for models prior to 2010.
The Touareg is a very popular car for motor sports. In 2005, a Touareg won the DARPA Grand Challenge, and in 2007 a Touareg won the Baja 500. It has competed successfully in other races, including the Pikes Peak, Dakar Rally and Baja 1000.
Is your Touareg's off-road vehicle equipment covered in case of breakdown? Touareg's factory warranty may not necessarily cover all specialty off-road equipment, and repairs can be very expensive. A Touareg extended warranty protects your SUV in case of a breakdown. You also get standard 24/7 roadside assistance and towing in the event you get stuck somewhere... in the desert perhaps.
