Back in February of 2011, Volkswagen made a social splash with its witty, cute, funny and energetic commercial featuring the Mini Darth Vader. Well, six months later the commercial is still attracting a lot of buzz on the web and in mainstream media.

In fact, CNN is going to be airing a special report during the weekend of July 23/24 about the kid behind the Mini Darth Vader and his campaign to avoid budget cuts to children’s hospitals.
