Volkswagen is on a roll when it comes to successful commercials… it’s Darth Vader campaign won the hearts and minds of Super Bowl views. But now Volkswagen released what appears to be yet another ad hit: 2012 Volkswagen Passat.

The ad features a pre-teen child “driving” shopping cart that’s made to look like a car (Volkswagen Passat, mind you) through a busy supermarket. Let’s just say that it’s a very well done ad with a crystal clear ad message. See for your self…

Volkswagen continues its heavy promotion of 2012 Volkswagen Beetle following its initial unveiling on the Oprah Show. This time around, Jay Leno test drives Volkswagen Beetle 2012 and compares it to the iconic Volkswagen Beetle of 1938.

Volkswagen is known for its ingenuity. Afterall… VW’s engineers came up with VW Bug and even Volkswagen Up!. But the pictures that recently surfaced on the web from China are more along the lines of “what were they thinking!”.

Do you remember the green van in the Scooby-Doo cartoon? Well, this van was drawn based on the iconic Volkswagen Bulli (aka Volkswagen camper), also known as Hippiemobile. The van became a cultural icon across the US and the world since its original production began in 1950s.

The good news is that Volkswagen is bringing hippiemobile back! However, this time around it is going to be equipped with a bunch of cool gadgets: electric motor, iPad controlled entertainment system, climate system and other ones. Reportedly, Volkswagen Bulli’s electric motor should get as many as 87 miles on a single battery charge.
